Workshop at Film Museum(24,25 May)
I had 2 days for workshop. Each of them were very long hours and consequently must be detailed one. From 10:00-16:00 !
Can I have things to lecture such long time?? It was thrilling a bit. *lol*

Anyway, the start time was 10:00, so I had to get there before 9:30 and did some preparations. Not much, actually though. Just place some materials--set some drawings and paintings in order.
On the way to museum from Hotel, the street has many stalls -- looked like some kind of market. I was so sorry I didn't have time to look around. I love very much to stroll such places.
I draw this after I my return home, according to my memory. Not accurate, rather rough, but something like that, I believe...

There were 10 members, actually. In this image, there is only 6 guys just because the space I draw was not enough. ^^;

The members had only 2 boys --each day one male participant ! Well, after all, artist of "Wedding Peach". Furthermore, boys tend to be shy ! But the guys who came to the workshop were so enthusiastic as well as girls.

The workshop was going on in English. That's a problem a bit for both side(-_-;), but thanks for the group was small, we came through it.

The contents?
General and basic technique how to draw manga, my experience when I was involved anime project (Wedding Peach), the difference between Japanese anime and manga, ...something like that.
Because of the small participants, I let them use my manga tools (using pen or put screen tone on) . Finally, after I gave some information about anime-character design and showed some example from Wedding Peach, the participants made character designs by their own. I asked whole body and some expressions like below.

During their work, I walked around them, checked their drawing and gave them some suggestions in personally--man to man, I mean. I found this is the way you consume the time very nicely. Looks you work hard,(*laughter* actually I worked well ^^*) no preparations required. And more, guys could ask you questions easily. And the best thing was, it made be lower the language barrier!

At first I doubted I could keep it for such long time(5 hours !), but I could do, even enjoyed it.

Having this kind of workshop (or lecture--whatsoever) could be rare. Usually you have 30-40 people. This is the first time for me, and I'm not surprised if it was the last, but it was a good experience.
Thank you museum, and the members!
