I was really happy drawing such one. Not hart beat, you know! Her face was...X(

When we discussed about the storyline, there was 2 way ...who will be heroine's boyfriend?.... One was not obvious which one will be and readers were so irritated who she really loved??? And the other was--of course the way we took. I was soooo glad when we agreed with the way. To be honest, I couldn't see any charm from Yanagiba-senpai at that time, except the face(face was also not so beautiful because of my skill...^^;; Anyway, just ...good looking... is not enough, right? Especially in Shojyo manga, all boys are good looking basically, you know!) So...if I couldn't see why she loves him I could put any improvises in it, as the result the story and characters would have become stiff and unnatural, just according to the scenario, like a puppet. The artists need put themselves, tire feelings in the characters to make story and draw good expressions. Well...that means--you could have said that even in this stage, I gave up to understand Tomita's Yosuke, and made him(Yosuke) my ideal boy, in a way. Oh well...I had been very selfish from the beginning, in that point, at least.^^;; Then, and, so, with M's instructions, Momoko had ...gone pit-a-pat... with Yosuke again and again!

Do you have any special training just after a match and in the same ground(it's a stadium, not a school field)...?  More like it could be a meeting...? But if you did so, the ball couldn't have come to... Anyway, who the hell kicked the ball....

M told me I should put Momoko's reaction when she saw beautiful guy (Bisyo-nen/Bikei). Yosuke's case was same.(He isn't so-called Bisyo-nen, though) Yes, he was right. But I had not realized till he told me. Don't ask me who the beautiful guy is. I couldn't draw him ...Bikei... at all. I know it.)

The first appearance of Limone; the situation was much better than Pluie. But...

Not do well at all.^^;; Drawing him was so difficult for me. In those days, both of them had no swords (they had swords in the design drawings, but not in the scenario) so the fight was ...something like energy-type one.... The second time the scenario said they had something like ...energy-swords.... I guess Tomita didn't like this one! *laughter*

She gave her ...Speech... since the first chapter. Oh my...the pages were so limited!!! But in those days there was no ...Love Angel Wedding Peach is extremely displeased!... line. Not yet invented. Haha...it was made by one of the Wedding Peach editors meetings, I believe.(I wasn't there)  If you wanted to do, you'd have prepared before the series started, I think...don't you? Anyway, no one want to get a ...Punishment..., but ...displeased......so what? Especially in Japanese, Gokigen-Naname is funny!(it's on purpose, I suppose!)

Sacred Camera

Well...haha...in this one, the goddess said ...you must use the flush of the sacred camera... and 'Peach with the thing likes a camera' in the scenario, so I draw exactly a thing LIKES A CAMERA. M cried, ...No, no!! I can't take this!!... When I gave him the drawings. Yes, of course he was right. I know now. After that--I believ-- I got the camera-design drawings from TENYU also...I have no memory I designed it. But I don't know why, there was one more change, and I also had to correct when we made vol.1.  So ...the realistic Camera... wasn't showed on public, luckily!

Chapter 2

I remember our (Tomita, M, and I) meeting at a bar in Shinjuku. We were there long time?just made the last train. (Almost of the time was spent for drinking and chatting, nevertheless to say!) Oh, I've just remembered now, that it was after we had seen Sailor Moon's movie at a theater. (Tomita gave us the tickets! ^^) Actually we went to a bar for just a drink, but I brought a storyboard and said 'would you like to do a little work?' or something to M. That's the reason Tomita was there during the discussion of a storyboard. (It was unusual.) Haha, I have a very good memory! M was a very fervent guy about his work and he told us a kind of ...What should manga be...things. at this stage. I've forgotten at all ! ^^;

They don't know why, they were not informed about their transformations. But still somehow they know all the charms and prologues. I knew it even I was a abecedary about ...Magical Girls....
But ordinary(?) wedding dress...you can call it a transformation?

These transform lines were hardly taken. Double transformation ? good for toys but not really so nice for story...! ^^;

This is the first time and the last(I believe). Tomita send back (fax) me my pencil drawing and added these lines. I can't remember if the charms were in the scenario from first. I think the lines came much later, around the inking process. That's the reason the expressions these girls were not convincing.

Hinagiku's room was my work, unlike Momoko's. ^_^ Actually, The Peach Team gave me some photos from Magazines for references. It's my taste than Momoko's.

I work hard this part. Explanation about things(SS4 and Limone) along with the progress of story and characters. 
It can't look like ...I am explain things now..., you know.^^;

This is the first time Momoko's ...stormy... remembrance. She used to think/remember Yosuke many times(Yes, we made her, I know), it's like a joke, almost.... And the stock ran out because she thought about Yosuke too many! It was a bit trouble that the hairs of both of them were black.

Ok, Momoko was supposed to be fool a bit, so she can stop on a zebra closing. But Yosuke...he was running in a person who stopped on the closing. You can't stop thinking he just wanted to bump into her, can you? Yes, it could make sense, he liked her anyway. But think back - I could change it a corner from a closing, no one would have had objection if I did. Yes, I did it; I made him to do it. I was a fool. ^^;; But YOU are ...kinda dangerous..., you are running in a zebra crossing without looking front, Yosuke!

In the scenario, there was no reason why Yosuke calls Momoko ...Momo-p.... But I couldn't accept it. No reason? No cue? From first, Yosuke Huma is a kind of guy who calls a girl with ...p...??(Sounds childish, or too sweet, I thought...yes, this Yosuke is my image and not Tomirta's/Original)

Anyway, ...Momo-p... was untouchable. I had no right to say anything about that as a drawer, and Tomita loved this. So...I read the scenario many times and thought very hard, then ? here you are, this sequence came to me.

Momoko means ...Peach... like fruit, so he had happen to call her Momo-p, and when he called her by the name she rally went mad...see? When you got a reaction like that from a cute girl whom you are concerned about, you can't stop calling her on the name. How about this? I choose Momoko or Momo-p depend on the situation because I got why he call her Momo-p. Great! *lol* And as a result, it explained Yosuke's feeling that his choice of the names Momoko or Momo-p, it was very good having the nick name.

I must say for Tomita's name's sake, readers loved the nickname ...Momo-p.... I got many, many letters such as ...we call XX-p each other..., ...I wish I was called XX-p by a boy I love.... Haha...He(a middle aged man) knew much about girls than me(I was a 20's woman at that time ! Honestly!!)....oh well*_* Incidentally, ...Wedding dress..., the concept was the same. It was a bad joke for me when they showed me the concept ...Fighting Brides.... But I got a lot of drawings and letters about it during the series on the magazine. Yes, it made me realize that girls love Wedding dresses and Wedding itself.

Here is Momoko's dad again. Because the scenario said, ...He's grown a mustache and looks wilder than younger days. (The video of his Wedding ceremony).... I guess Momoko's dad's younger days image was not fit for his. And it might be not good too(I don't know actually), his mustache was erased in Anime.

...Yosuke is showing his impressive technique to Momoko....

I got this rifting of Yosuke from my friend Mana(she helped me as an manga-assistant). According of her, the rifting requires highly technique. And one more thing, usually gory hardly does practice of this kind of stuff. Yes, that makes sense. Totally unnecessary skill for a gory. But we need a scene ? or scenes Momoko feels something like......Wow, Yosuke is cool!.... So Momoko doesn't (won't?) see Yanagiba nevertheless he was drawn bigger than Yosuke. ^^

Still, is it OK doing like this performances in a dining place...???

OH itchy!!! Susumu Shindo, a guest character like him was nothing for me, (I mean, I didn't need to digest his personality) so I can let him say anything in the scenario. Hehe.

From here, his name was changed ...Jama-p... from ...Ojama.... We could have replaced the name ...Ojama... to ...Jama-p... at his first appearance, but he is Jama-p; Ojapa tribe Jama-p, that the reason M insisted. But in this case, it's unexplainable how Momoko knew his name Jama-p. Nobody had not told her it....^^;;

At first, his name was Ojya-ma, ...Jama-p tribe demon.... All pet-kind demons are supposed to be called XX-ma. Such as Paja-ma, Oman-ma. So if his name was Jama-p, it doesn't make sense. But Jama-p is cuter than Ojya-ma, so Peach Team took it. Well, yes, that's true and it sounds good ...Momo-p and Jama-p.... Manga has no Ojyama-tribe xx-ma(Just Pompe and Blackie) so it has no incoherence, anyway. Just a coincidence, though.

Well well.... It's bit a complicated and I'm not sure I give you clear explanations. (--;;)

Incidentally, there was no explanation about this when the manga was translated, the word Ojyama-zoku (Ojama tribe) was replaced ...Mini-demon... in English version.

Actually, in this case, the name Yosuke calls should be Momoko instead of Momo-p, but I took Momo-p. Because the name had just introduced, I need dialogues with Momo-p as much as I can for Momoko's line ...I wanna hear you say ...Momo-p...!..., in the next chapter.

Why Yosuke came to Momoko at once? Don't know. Maybe she was in front of Mimiko and got the direct hit of black gassy stuff.

Momoko's "stormy" remembrance, again. It had just done the last chapter; there were nothing to do. Especially "after Momo-p"

She should says "I wanna hear you say Momo-p", not Momoko. It might have been unconvincing, because he has called her on the name for a couple hours at most. But for readers, (The manga was run in a Monthly Magazine) it was one month, anyway.^^;

Why she doesn't see if he is living or not when she hags him...because she is silly, can't help it! Everything can be explained because "She is silly!. *lol*

By the way, the scenario said "For the information of Momoko doesn't care whether the others are OK or not; you can put some cuts which the others are moving..." But if you saw people were moving with gasps(If they are all fine, that's also doesn't make sense), didn't you care about them do you? (that the reason the anime was like that? I don't know). And of course the pages were limited, so I ignored it with respect.

Honestly, it could be too much, but "once you decided to do, you should keep on completely.... Go go go! See? For Momoko, there is no one in the world except for Yosuke, in that point.

Anyway, her ribbon is ridiculously bigger compare with the first appearance. I can't remember why I drew like this....

It hadn't been well the way to drew the black gas, Tomita asked us to change it because it make the scenes dark. Then, they were stipple (zip tone) in this chapter.

M said we should have shown Japanese style Wedding because this place was supposed to be a wedding center, but just one cut. I still have no idea such many couples can have their ceremony at the same time in one Wedding Center. ^^;

Here you are, the first appearance of Wedding Peach costume with frills on both side of her skirt. Not only her ribbons but also her hair had been getting heavier and heavier... If they are not, still they were big enough from first. What was I thinking...I don't know. *_*

This "Speech"; it was long and not mean anything to the story, so I wanted to cut it. But M insisted "we should go that much", so I was the loser by majority vote. Basically when there were disagreements between Tomita and I, M had the discretion. The editor in charge has a very big power like this! *lol*

It was the first appearance of  the line "Gokigen Naname"(Extremely displeased) and the last in "Chao".

Lovely Pech Tampest "Wedding Peach makes hart shape with her hands" in the scenario, I believe... this attack had no point at all more than anime virsion.And also the first and the last in ...Chao...

I should have given Mimiko shelter from a rain somewhere...I didn't realize it.

M and I decided to show "what Momoko wanted to protect was" at this point and discussed how. Not only fight against Demons but also a kind of concrete motive, which came from her hart... Was it convincing? We hoped. ^^;

At last. AT LAST readers found the "authoritative manner" of Love Angels' attacks. I remember I went to the meeting room and discussed what like they should have been. Not only the attacks, but also some points, the pose when they transformed, for instance. Wedding Peach was run some magazines and draw some artists, so "Let have the uniformity" ...why we hadn't had yet? Why now?? And, you know, I knew nothing about "magical girls anime/manga" at that time. When you got the design of Saint Camera with a shatter button, you thought Wedding peach pushes the button when she uses it - without any doubt, right??? But it was wrong attitude for magical girls. So, the result was this. But that didn't make sense, because it has a button ? buttons are for push normally. See? Anime version is more convincing than manga, definitely.

The Big Jama-p

When I designed this I have "Laflelu" from Anime-Devilman(A Villain Monster) in my mind. Yes, that was - is my mentality , Shonen-manga /anime!

I and M (my editor) had no idea about it, but the big Jamapi surprised very much Tomita, Mami-p and W(one of the editor of Wedding Peach team, he was Mami-p's). It had GONE TOO FAR. *lol* Oh yes, it came from Devilman, anyway. But we had made the episode after this that Jama-p came to Momoko's pet, so we needed a vicious Jama-p, which harmed love angles viciously. That shows how Momoko's love was gentle, and Daisy's anger when Momoko hugged Jama-p went able to be convictive, right??

Daisy can take a move of self defense when she fall down 'cos she is an expert of martial arts, but Lily also does like this ? seems, at least from the drawing. ^^;

Momoko's mom's ring changed the shape. BECAUSE...I got the design picture of the ring from TENYU and that was when the next moth after Wedding Peach had already started. We- I couldn't change the shape of ring because I had already made it up by myself (very ordinary ring) and it had been shown. That's the reason the ring transformed, too. And this sword was the same, I got it and they asked us to show it. Just once, something like "an excuse". In first place, you can't take swords as young girl's toys. It's supposed to be not suit for girls. So, Tomita wrote "it gives the power by swing not cutting". It's not a sword, but a baton.

Well...still, there was a way that I change the shape without any reason, like that I changed the shapes of costumes and compact.  But the design I got was for toys, so what kind of guy who gives the ring like that as a wedding ring...???  I couldn't take it!!!  The readers of Chao(the magazine) were not such very young girls... so I took this way. But later, it turned up that was one good thing the trouble brought me. I could take the same way all other SS4. (They were designed for little girl's toys/anime, so looks like so childish as accessories.)

Hinagiku is so boyish, but easily moved to tears. So when she went to cry, she cry loudly and her tears was limitless. Anyway, I wonder if Hinagiku's dad didn't get his customer's anger...

I remember this scene very well because M told me "you've done it, this monologue is very nice, as a shojyo manga". "Oh, really? I didn't realize it." That was my reaction. *laugter*  The drawing is not very like Shojyo, but still...^^;; Anyway, really, honestly, Momoko's ribbon is ridiculously BIG. Oh my... Where had I been who thought, "Wow, the ribbon is very big". That was one of my first impressions when I saw the design drawings first time, honestly!

To tell you the truth, there was a concept "let's find who the Love Angles are (human form)" I had ignored till this point. Because...as you know, there is an anime which has the same concept. ^^;In addition to that, I didn't have enough pages for doing that stuff (there were many things I wanted do more than that). So I showed to Pluie that Momoko is Wedding Peach. Well, all the decision was left to M, so if M was OK, it's OK.

I...I just wanted to give Yosuke a cool action...that's all. Not only just "shied Momoko", something more active and positive...^^ It failed, though.
